Be inspired....

Little Signers Club is offering you the opportunity to be part of a leading Associate programme that can help change young children’s lives for the better.

Speech, Language and Communication skills throughout the UK are at a critical level (Berkow Review 2008).  Using signing, in conjunction with speech, is a simple but effective way to build language and communication skills inclusively as well as help even very young children to develop confidence that their needs can be understood.

Using our extensive expertise in signing, communication development, EYFS and teaching, Little Signers Club has put together a fun and informative one day training workshop that will enable you to fully understand how signing can be of benefit to young children.  This will enable you to comprehensively introduce basic first signs at your workplace, setting, home or club from birth to 5 and enhance communication experiences.

Recommendations from the Tickell review will place communication at the heart of the new EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) during 2012.

See - and hear - the difference....

Be innovative....

At the end of the course you will be confident in your ability to use simple signs with children in your care, know exactly what to expect from a child as they start to sign and be aware of how gesture can be an aid to speech development.
