Little Signers Club

Hello, my name is Carole and I am the Little Signers Club Teacher for Beaconsfield, High Wycombe and Marlow.

I began signing with my first baby in 2005 and now, 5 years on, have 2 signing children of my own as well as having helped many friends and their children to pick up signing along the way. I just can’t help myself – I love to sign!

My signing life began in Makaton, but I am now experienced up to level 2 in British Sign Language and this is what we will use in classes. Signing helps enormously with early communication skills. My children knew, long before they could speak clearly, that their signs could communicate all sorts of things to me and to others around them. I can’t wait to show you how to sign with your little ones. It is so easy and it is so much fun!

I know that signing can help every child to develop their communication. I also know, that for those children who find communication more difficult for one reason or another, it can be a lifeline. Absolutely everyone is welcome to my classes; some babies will pick it up really quickly, others may take a bit longer, but the end result is so satisfying that it is always worth the wait!

I will be offering Beginners and Advanced classes in High Wycombe very soon – watch this space or contact me to be the first to find out the dates and times.

I am also offering private classes to groups of friends, which can be run in your home or elsewhere.
