Little Signers Club aim to provide some of the very best baby signing classes
that you can attend.

Little Signers Club was set up in January 2010 with a team of highly competent and experienced baby signing teachers.

We are priviledged to have some truly amazing people who have become teachers for Little Signers Club.  They deliver quality classes time and time again, being passionate about baby signing and partnering us in building an ethical brand.

We work from the research undertaken by Dr Joseph Garcia, who is the world’s leading expert on baby signing.  His research has changed the way we communicate with our little ones for the better, leading to dramatic changes in bonding and relationships between parents and baby with a skill that will last a lifetime.  The results of Dr Garcia’s work are simple, straightforward and proven in practice by countless parents as baby signing sweeps the globe.

In addition, Little Signers Club works closely with Cath Smith, one of the most highly regarded British Sign Language Early Years authors in the UK and in the summer of 2010, Little Signers Club was approached to collaborate on a new, leading baby signing book, Signing Hands; Baby Signing Basics, which was released in September 2010.  This book forms an integral part of Little Signers Club courses.

Early in 2011 we partnered with ICAN, the Children’s Communication Charity and all of our teachers attend training to ensure that our communication development information is as up to date as it can possibly be.  During our courses we share theory and development information with parents, helping them to identify communication development milestones.  We see this as being a very important part of our course and can reassure parents as to their young child’s progression.

We use British Sign Language in our classes, not Makaton.  However, at the early level that we are teaching, there are very few differences between the two, the most notable differences being the signs for “more”, "all gone" and “cow”.

Little Signers Club is unique in the provision of its classes, early years courses, training and support across the country, has been nominated in both 2010 and 2011 for the Whats On 4 Little Ones awards, has received 5 star reviews on Families Recommend and this year, 2011, is proud to be an official partner of the Hello Campaign run by the Communication Trust.
