Hi, my name is Louise and I am your Little Signers Club teacher for Berkhamstead and Tring. I also co-ordinate enquiries for Milton Keynes and Northampton where your class will be run by a fully trained member of my team.
I live in Aylesbury with my husband and daughter. I was first introduced to baby signing by Shelley who I met through our NCT classes.
As a primary school teacher, I understood the huge benefits of children being able to communicate from an early age. These benefits stay with a child throughout their learning-life and foster a thirst for knowledge in many children. By simply connecting a word or sound to an action, babies and young children are exercising their brain. And, just like exercising the body, that can only be good!
I will be running classes for beginners and advanced baby signers. If you have a group of friends who would like private tuition, in the comfort of one of your homes or mine, then this can easily be arranged. Classes are fun and informal with songs, stories and rhymes. Parents, grandparents and carers are welcome to join the classes and I plan to run special Saturday morning classes for Daddies who don’t want to be left out!
