Little Signers Club

I'm Shelley, the mum behind Little Signers Club which I run in conjunction with all our wonderful teachers.

I am absolutely passionate about using signing  with young children having seen first hand the amazing effect such simple communication such as using sign can have on communication development.  It is my ambition to raise the profile of using signing with babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers and when I am not busy behind the scenes at Head Office, I can be found developing training programmes and teaching nationally.  My greatest joy is to switch others onto the benefits of signing and I thoroughly enjoy all the work I am currently engaged in with Early Years Settings.

I first became aware of baby signing early in 2005 and from the start was fascinated with the potential for early communication with young children. Having spent many years caring for babies and children of different ages, I was immediately drawn to this simple but effective system - which benefits both the child and parent in so many ways.

I've met with many parents and children who have benefited so much from this system or learning - their different stories and enthusiasm are inspiring. I find it amazing that such a simple, fun concept can kick start a communication process that will still provide untold benefits even years later. I have had the privilege of seeing over a thousand families through my classes through the years.
