Hello, I’m Tania your Little Signers Club Teacher for Watford, St Albans and Hemel Hempstead. I live in Watford with my Partner and two little signers Thomas and Niamh.
I was first introduced to baby signing when my nephew was born in 2007. Through watching him and his family I realised what a fantastic, yet simple, way to bond and communicate with your child baby signing really is.
When I found out I was pregnant with my second child, I couldn’t wait to introduce baby signing into our family. I started when my daughter Niamh was 3 months old - I didn’t expect much to start with…. We enjoyed the singing and social side of the classes initially; but, when Niamh first signed "Milk" then followed quickly by "food" and “more” at 7 months, we were hooked.
At 16 months Niamh uses over 30 signs and is able to communicate with her older brother. Thomas loves to sign with his little sister and is often seen in the playground teaching his friends.
If you are unable to make a class and have a group of friends interested I also offer private lessons in your home.
